Saint Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious celebration that happens annually on 17th March to mark the death date of the most commonly-recognized patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick.
The celebration of his Day is the only national holiday in Ireland. It is celebrated by morning mass, then parades and partying with lots of music into the night.
For most of the 20th century, Saint Patrick’s Day was considered a strictly religious holiday in Ireland, which meant that the nation’s pubs were closed for business on March 17. In 1970, the day was converted to a national holiday, and the stout resumed flowing.
Thank god for that and there will be plenty of drinks flowing here at the Ellan Vannin.

Tickets are only £27.95 and as all our events, the menu is a 10 course taster menu. These events are so popular here, especially when you have a nice tipple to help the food go down!
The menu will be released later this week and will defiantly be worth the visit.
